Ancient Egyptians also believed that the neatly closed shape of an Eternity Ring was based on the symbol Ouroboros; a snake or lizard swallowing its own tail to form a full circle. The first Ouroboros appeared was on the Tomb of Tutankhamun in 14th Century BC.
It was also thought that the Eternity Ring had roots in the Tibetan Buddhist Endless Knot and the Infinity symbol created by John Wallis in 1655.

In most cases, the Engagement Ring, Wedding Ring and Eternity Ring is worn on the same finger. The Eternity Ring is usually placed between the Wedding Band and Engagement Ring.
You can wear an Eternity Ring on any finger, but is usually worn on the left-hand ring finger.
